The 21.Infanterie have always looked for locations around the UK to enhance our impression and help with our overall goal to recreate history.

Our events season sees our group travel to all parts of the UK and attend some fantastic locations but unfortunately are a far cry from the battlefields of WW2.

To help in this we have always thought to look away from events and see what is available for our group to use and if need be work on to achieve that 1940s feel.

While by far the easiest to achieve is the outdoor field look and this is widely available during our events season we have set out to create best we can an urban feel and the use of dwellings if at all possible. In some cases where they have not been available we have with the site owners permission simply built them.

We have over the past 2 years worked closely with the 1940s Experience Bushey and created a diorama which gives our group a new dimension to the hobby as we can recreate internal scenes via our various displays show on this page. There is more information on our Bushey Hall site on this website.

Our aim at Bushey Hall was to recreate a diorama which was both engaging for the public as well as offering our group the chance to recreate German 1940's building exteriors. We have at Bushey Hall a number of sites in which we can use for our hobby such as a checkpoint, guardhouse,Officers mess, destroyed building, a trenchline, pillbox and private wood. All these facilities under one roof really does give the group a chance to explore other avenues especially those involving building interiors.

Alongside our Bushey site we have constructed a full size bunker at the site of the annual "Victory show" which includes interior fittings also. Our award winning display at Victory show 2016 was a full size bunker and trench system. We will be using this once again in 2017 with plans to improve on what we done in 2016.
